Wine Run Krumvíř

The Wine Run is a race which provides runners a unique opportunity to race in picturesque surroundings of wine cellars and vineyards in the vicinity of the wine village Krumvíř.

During the afternoon competitions of all performance and age categories will be held. The winner of the main race will win as much wine as he or she weighs.

Is 7 km long track too much for you? Arrange a four-man team with your friends and take part in the relay race.

Schedule

WHEN: Saturday, 18th June 2022. START of the main race at 14.00 h.

WHERE: Krumvíř – area of the Ethnographic Stadium.

TRACK: 6.6 km length, leads through alleyways along wine cellars, to the nature reservation “Sklenářův kopec”, asphalt (80%), unpaved road (20%).

THE STARTING FEE INCLUDES: Refreshments on the track and service facilities immediately after the race.

PROGRAM: Throughout the event it will be possible to taste wines of individual winemakers, both in the wine cellars as well as in the area of the ethnographic stadium of Krumvir. The area has a pleasant environment where children can play on the playground while you can walk around stands and visit stands presenting traditional crafts, wine, gastronomy and much more.

PRIZE: The winner of the main race in the categories men and women wins as much wine as he or she weighs. Every runner will receive commerative medal

FACILITIES: Competitors will be able to use the facilities of the Ethnographic stadium and football stadium (cloakroom, toilets and showers). There will be a possibility to store your luggage.

PARKING: Further and more detailed traffic information will be disclosed in advance.

Registration and payment till 5. 6. 2022: Main race 300Kč/person, Relay race 400 Kč/team

Registration and payment till after 5. 6. 2022 and on the site: Main race 400 Kč/person, Relay race 480 Kč/team

Children's races: free

Participation of children under the age of 15 is allowed only if accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian! Participation of athletes under the age of 18 is allowed only with the signature of a parent or a legal guardian!
